THE NUMBUR CHEESE CIRCUIT TREK

Overview

It is a newly developed trekking trail. The trail passes through the khimti and Likhu river Valleys. The beautiful valleys are in the lap of Everest and Rolwaling regions. This circuit is named after Numbur Peak (6959m) and one of Nepal’s first Yak Cheese factories which was established in 1957. The visitors can enjoy breathtaking sceneries, mesmerozong mountain peaks, unique culture and traditional lifestyle of the Sherpa people. The circuit provides the ample opportunity to observe the rich biodiversity along the khimti and Likhu River valleys, ranging from temperate to alpine vegetation. The circuit also offers pure Sherpa culture and traditional life. Style at Khahare, Khachhewar, Kyama, Gumdel and serding. Furthermore, Newari culture and lifestyle can be experienced at Lapchane and Those villages.
