Tamang Heritage Trekking

The Tamang Heritage Trek begins by driving from Kathmandu to Syafrubesi and goes through the lovely and rich Langtang Valley with stunning perspectives on Langtang and Ganesh Himal. Towns on the course are involved by Tamang individuals, firmly identified with Tibetans, thus the way of life is Buddhist with a decent dissipating of petition wheels, chortens, supplication banners and mani stones along the path. Promptly in the first part of the day, we drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, a little wonderful town filling in as a beginning stage of numerous treks in the Langtang area. We drive on a winding street getting a charge out of extraordinary perspectives on Manaslu, Annapurna and Ganesh Himal. We proceed until we drop to the little town of Syabrubesi. We start the trek from Syabrubesi with a climb to we arrive at the perspective where we can get a marvelous perspective on Ganesh Himal, Gosaikunda go and the Goljang valley. From here the path plunges to Goljang valley appreciating perspectives on the Ganesh Himal, Shishapangma, LangtangLirung and others. We proceed until we arrive at the town of Gatlang, a little delightful town on the slope with customary stone houses. Medium-term at Gatlang.
We start our trek from Gatlang with a plummet to Thangbuche as we absorb the wonderful perspectives on the Ganesh Himal and Langtang Ranges en route. We proceed with our stroll to cross the Chilime Hydropower dam from where the path will rise until Tatopani. The name Tatopaniin Nepali actually signifies 'high temp water inferable from the regular underground aquifers here. We bring a plunge into the characteristic heated water to unwind our depleted muscles.Overnight in Tatopani.
Today we trek from Tatopani to Thuman by means of Brimdang and Nagthali. We rise to NagthaliDanda,a ridge with astonishing perspectives on snow topped Himalayas. We navigate through the thick elevated backwoods and arrive at the little Tamang settlement of Brimdang. We keep strolling tough to Nagthali where we find a workable pace entrancing perspectives on Langtang, Sanjen, Kerung and Ganesh Himalaccompanied by warm tea. After the warm tea, we proceed with our stroll to arrive at a Tamnag town of Thuman. Medium-term in Thuman.
We start our trek in the moderately compliment trail which we gradually begin to plummet to Timure. We proceed with our stroll to Briddim, a Buddhist villagelocated on the lap of the LangtangHimal. Houses in Briddim are fabricated withstones andresembles a normal Tibetan town. The occupants of the town are generally of Tibetan starting point. Medium-term in Briddim.
We start our stroll to Syabrubesiand follow the BhoteKosi River on the left half of the valley toward the north. We cross the waterway and finish paddy and corn fields and drop toSyabrubesi. Medium-term in Syarubesi.
After breakfast, we take a five hour lengthy drive back to Kathmandu along the winding street.

Trekking equipment

The Following information will give you some idea about what you need to bring for the trek as the backpack for the hiking in Nepal and the gear play a vital role for the successful trip and we suggest you to have all the necessary gear for the trip and not to have unnecessary equipment/things that you will not be using for the trip and list of the gear you need for the trek are:

  • Good down Sleeping bag (Optional/we can provide one if you do not have on your own and it is to be returned after the trek.
  • Duffel or Rucksack bag to keep your all the gear and this will be carried by the porters.
  • Daypack bag for yourself
  • A down Jacket
  • Shade hat
  • Warm wool hat to cover your ears
  • A pair of lightweight warm gloves.
  • T-shirts 2- 3 pieces
  • Lightweight thermal tops.
  • Fleece jacket.
  • Fleece Wind-proved jacket (optional).
  • A pair’s nylon hiking shorts which are quick drying one
  • Underwear
  • Two pairs of lightweight long underwear.
  • Two pairs trekking pants, preferably that zip on/off at the knees so they double as shorts
  • Four pairs of liner warm socks
  • A pair of light to medium weight waterproof hiking/trekking boots.
  • A pair of light trekking shoes for camp/lodges
  • A pair sandal (Optional)
  • A water bottle.
  • Head/Torch Light.

Medicines and First Aid Kits

  • Extra Strength Excedrin for altitude-related headaches like DMX.
  • Ibuprofen for general aches and pains.
  • Imodium or Peptone besom, Flexon capsules for upset stomach or diarrhea.
  • Diamox 125 or 250mg or 400mg tablets for altitude sickness.
  • 1 small personal sized first-aid kit with blister treatments such as moleskin, band-aids, some waterproof tape, anti-infection ointments, etc.(Sherpa expedition and Trekking company's team also provide first aid kits)

Miscellaneous but Important

  • Passport and extra passport photos (4 copies)
  • Durable wallet/pouch for travel documents, money & passport.
  • Lip care (Balm) At least SPF 20, 2 sticks.
  • Sun’s cream with SPF 40 is recommended
  • Pocket knife.
  • Water purification Iodine tablets
  • Toiletry kits and be sure to include toilet paper stored in a plastic bag, hand wipes, and liquid hand sanitizer, towel, soap, etc.
